CS30-TE Inline Top and End Sealer Overview
Pearson's CS30-TE Inline Top and End Sealer is designed to automatically close and seal partial overlapping top flaps of large meat cases, then fold and seal end tab extensions at rates of up to 30 cases per minute.* The automatic case centering and squaring feature permits random feeding of two different cases.

Designed to Perform
Cases are received at the infeed of the sealer with flaps open and are indexed by a gate style indexer, which meters them into the flights. The flights push the cases through the top sealing section. A "floating" tongue rides on top of the case's end panels and supports the overlapping flaps so the glue between the flaps can be compressed. A floating suspension system allows the tongue and compression belt assemblies to ride up and over cases that are over-packed.

The case is then transferred to a second gluing station where tabs are plowed and sealed. The case is finally discharged onto the customer conveyor.
