TF18-BB Tray Former Overview
Pearson's TF18-BB Tray Former forms and seals the corners of large trays from flat corrugated blanks at speeds up to 18 trays per minute.*

Designed to Perform
An 18" vertical magazine holds flat blanks that are fed by a vacuum pull-down into the machine. The dual flight system transfers the blank through a special folding and sealing section where laminated panels and triangular corner-posts are formed, aligned, and sealed. A pneumatic powered mandrel presses the blank downward through flex-mounted plows that fold end and side walls up, leaving the tray staged in a compression chamber to firmly seal the corners. A completed tray with top flaps open and erect is released to drop onto customer's conveyor.
